Has it really been a whole year?

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I wrote my first (and only) blog entry!  Well, here it is, at long last, entry #2, (hopefully there will be more than one post this year!)

First and foremost, thank you to all of our loyal customers for supporting us this year.  It has been a rough several months,  and we know that without you, we wouldn’t still be opening our doors every morning.  We are so thankful and so blessed to be able to work with and get to know not only our local customers, but also our online community of customers.  You all have very good taste.  Ha!

Secondly, we  find ourselves in the somewhat strange situation of needing to clear out some inventory to make room for new summer lines, and new FALL lines that will start coming by the end of July!   Usually in the summer we go gangbusters from the time we open until the time we close–but we’ve noticed that tourism here in Williamsburg is WAY down, which is too bad, because it’s a sweet, lovely place to visit!  We have Busch Gardens, Great Wolf Lodge, Colonial Williamsburg, and Richmond and Norfolk are each only an hour away!  So come on down (or up, or over)!
